Kelsey Wise on paragraph 1

I’m wondering why I can’t see ‘post to entire article’ ?

Anyhow, I’m glad Southlake lost. When you constantly are collecting the money and having the best facilities, best trainer, not to mention highest egos and high use of steroids, there should be no excuse for losing right?

Well, speaking of highschool sports and all,
Allen Eagle Girls Varsity Soccer team will take state-and when I say this, I mean no steroids, and no unfair advantages.

Kishan Patel on paragraph 1

Well I don’t think that the loss means that the Southlake Era has ended, but on the bright side they did lose two games this season, which is more than Allen lost, so does this mean the beginning of the Allen Era, that would be pretty cool

22-21 is close. I dont know if you can go further to speculate that this is the end of the southlake era.

However, you could spin this into a science post. “How steroids affect the body.”

Southlake, you cant always rely on science to win a state title, sorry.

I thought the day would never come, but lo and behold, it has and I just can’t BELIEVE IT! But of course i have to wonder if their loss was just a bad day scenario, or whether Abilene is something to look out for

Trust me, you wont have to wait long for a complete defense. With only 4 defensive starters graduating this year the majority of the defense will be back, better than before. You might find problems on the offensive side of the ball with only 1 starting offensive lineman returning and three starting receivers graduating, however.

As soon as Allen gets a competent defense, maybe. As well as we did during the season, there's no denying the fact that we had a pretty lackluster defense.

I agree. It’s hard to say “woo, look at our top-ranked supremely awesome offense” when the defense allows so many points per game. :(

I think it was time for them to be knocked off the pedestal the Metroplex had put them up on. It’s time for someone else from the Metro area to take over, like say…AHS? :)

Southlake's reign of terror is definitely over. With the recent loss of their former head coach Todd Dodge, and their current senior class due up for graduation, they will not be near as good as they have been. However they will still due well in the years to come but will not live up to the enormous expectations of an expected undefeated season coupled with a state championship. End of an era? I think so.
