FYI, if you don't have spring break plans...

I’m going to see if my mom will swing us by there on our way to Schlitterbahn during spring break. I saw the picture and immediately thought “Chewbacca”. Then I realized exactly who you were talking about. I didn’t realize that our ancestors were quite *that* hairy.

Thats interesting and all, but I wont consider going…maybe i would have if it were closer…but I wouldnt want to add to the ozone layer by driving 5 hours just to see a pile of old bones (even if they are VERY IMPORTANT old bones)

You know it might be fun to see out oldest ancestor. I might just take the whole Spring break off from work and take the whole family down, it would be an interesting trip to go with the family with. Have a great time Ferg and Mr.Ferg, who knows I might even run into you guys down there.

Beside frisbee this is probably the most exciting thing to hit dallas. i am going on a ski trip but i am making my parents go and take notes. i just think that is so interesting. imagine the first humans and what they look like. i know that its propbably not totally accuarate but it makes you think, and also those of us who have religious beliefs may change not our views but percpective. stephen out

For spring break, my friends and I are all supposed to either go to Cancun or to Padre. However, I mentioned this and everyone kind of laughed and then after a moment of silence everyone was like well we could go do that. So I might actually be going to see Lucy over spring break as like a road trip. This is proof that even not so smart kids are even interested in science.

Who wouldn’t want to see our oldest ancestor? “Oh, hey Granny!” I’m going to visit Baylor so I don’t see why I wouldn’t go down further and see her? That’s amazing, have fun Ferg, I know you will.

It’s an Australopithecus just like Lucy was. It is what she would have looked like 3.5 million years ago. :)

Hmmm I might actually consider convincing my parents to drive us down there to "visit my brother" who is in Housten and then take a detour by the Museum...that would be kidna cool to see Lucy....I assume that is a recreated picture of her on the post?

Neil on paragraph 1

see? we can look like monkeys without being monkeys. People who don’t believe in evolution need to get that through their heads.
